Mobile TV2 (my 730c)

The Sagem myMobileTV is a mobile phone introduced in 2006, focused on enabling mobile television viewing through DVB-H technology. At the time of its release, it was considered a pioneer in mobile entertainment.The phone features a 2.2" TFT display with a resolution of 240 × 320 pixels and support for 256,000 colors. Its dimensions are 115 × 47 × 20.8 mm, and it weighs 125 grams, which was standard for devices with mobile TV capabilities at the time. The internal memory capacity is 40 MB and can be expanded using a microSD card.The device is equipped with a 1.3-megapixel camera with a maximum resolution of 1280 × 1024 pixels. It also supports video recording at 176 × 220 pixel resolution. The Sagem myMobileTV supports connectivity via GPRS, Bluetooth, and infrared. Wi-Fi and GPS are not available. It features a proprietary USB port for connecting to a computer. The phone supports MP3 file playback and includes a WAP 2.0/xHTML browser. Additional features include Java MIDP 2.0 support, an organizer, voice memo recording, and T9 predictive text input.

The device is powered by a removable 920 mAh Li-Ion battery, offering up to 5 hours of talk time and up to 350 hours in standby mode.

At the time of its release, the Sagem myMobileTV was an innovative device that enabled mobile TV viewing—an advanced feature back then. Today, this model is more of a collector’s item or a nostalgic reminder of the early attempts to integrate multimedia features into mobile phones.
